Job description

Job Position: Reach Truck Operator
Location: Dallas, TX 75227
Pay Rate: $19.34/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift 2PM-10:30PM M-F
Description: Operate stand-up, high-reach trucks to safely move, stack, and retrieve palletized products, typically in high-density, narrow-aisle warehouse environments. Pick orders, load/unload trucks, use RF scanners for inventory tracking, and conduct daily safety checks on equipment. This role requires high-reach certification, accuracy, and physical stamina for lifting up to 50+ lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be able to pick 2 pallets at a time and operate reach trucks in 5th level racks.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment in narrow aisles.
Order Picking & Fulfillment: Accurately select, pull, and stage products for outgoing orders based on pick lists.
Material Handling: Load and unload trailers, move products from receiving to racks, and stack items to maximize vertical storage space.
Inventory Management: Utilize RF scanners to scan, track, and update inventory locations in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Safety & Maintenance: Perform pre-shift safety inspections (check fluid levels, brakes, lift mechanisms), report malfunctions, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Documentation: Verify shipments against packing lists, bills of lading, and other documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience with stand-up, deep-reach, or narrow-aisle trucks.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and twist for long shifts (often up to 12 hours) and lift 50+ lbs.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer/RF scanner skills, and the ability to work at high elevated heights.
