About the Job
Openwork is currently actively searching for experienced Forklift Operators for North Austin (available positions in Round Rock and Pflugerville, TX). If you meet the qualifications listed below, we encourage you to apply!
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for:
  • Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or other powered industrial equipment (equipment varies by client).
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse while following all safety procedures.
  • Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders accurately using RF scanners, pick sheets, or warehouse management systems.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, inventory counts, and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Perform general warehouse duties including palletizing, wrapping, labeling, sorting, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to management.
What you'll need:
  • Previous forklift operating experience is required; certification is preferred for some positions.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and communicate effectively in English.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred (but not always required).
Schedule & Pay:
  • Pay: ranges from $18-20/hr. Weekly pay!
  • Shift: Multiple shifts available, including 1st, 2nd, weekends, and overtime opportunities depending on the client.
