Camp Bow Wow is a Premier Doggy Day and Overnight Camp that provides a fun, safe and upscale environment for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention! We provide doggy day camp for clients wishing to drop their dogs off in the morning and pick them up in the evening, as well as overnight boarding for travelers. We are looking for full and part-time Camp Counselors that have a genuine love of dogs, are energetic, enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable team players. Camp Bow Wow cares for dogs 365 days a year including Saturdays, Sundays, and every holiday. Candidates must be able to work during hours of operation. Must live in proximity to TEMPE/ MESA location.

This job requires the ability to care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Care includes: cleaning, monitoring up to 25 dogs at one time, playing, Cleaning, and of course handing out treats!

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Capable of physical activity up to and including handling XL breeds and deep cleaning
  • Taking a course on Pet First Aid and CPR (course is paid for as a benefit of employment!)
  • Comfortable with administering (some) medications to dogs (Senior CC only)
  • Calm, & patient personality with the dogs
  • Engaging with dogs and monitoring their physical and mental behavior
  • Breed specialty (example: tea cups, high activity level or extra-large breeds)

Compensation

  • $14.70+ an hour starting pay (pending on experience) + Tips
  • Hours can revolve around school and other responsibilities

  • Pay will range based on experience and level of responsibility
