Job description

Entry-Level Rail Terminal Jockey Driver – Croxton, NJ.

Join Pacific Rail Services (PRS), a leader in rail terminal operations known for stability and excellence. We're hiring Entry-Level Jockey Drivers—no CDL or prior experience required. Full training provided!
Location: Norfolk Southern Railyard – Croxton, NJ.
Employment Type: Direct hire (you will be employed by PRS and will not be considered a railroad employee).
Compensation:
  • Start: $19.60/hr.
  • 1 Year: $21.60/hr.
  • 2 Years: $24.00/hr.
  • Annual Potential: $55,000–$70,000 with overtime.

Shifts Available:
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
  • 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
    Shifts are 8 hours with mandatory OT as needed.

What You’ll Do:
  • Operate jockey trucks to move 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis.
  • Perform ground duties: climb railcars, secure tracks, handle IBCs.
  • Assist crane operators using hand signals.
  • Stack/unstack chassis and load/unload chassis racks.
  • Support team operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • No experience required (outdoor, driving, or labor experience preferred).
  • Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license.
  • Pass 7-year background check, drug test, and physical capabilities test.
  • No GED/diploma required.
  • Must live within 45 minutes of Croxton, NJ (no relocation).
