Job description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Friday: 6:30amโ€“8:00pm
  • Saturday/Sunday: 7:00amโ€“8:30pm
  • Includes on-call for 4 shifts and all holidays
  • Must be flexible to department scheduling needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform safe, age-appropriate radiologic exams per departmental protocol
  • Independently manage a wide variety of technical imaging procedures
  • Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout each interaction
  • Assess clinical histories, administer contrast media, and respond to emergencies as necessary
  • Operate and maintain all radiographic equipment and support systems
  • Provide clear explanations and preparatory guidance to patients and families
  • Mentor students during clinical rotations; participate in ongoing training and education
  • Maintain accurate records, perform quality control, and comply with regulatory standards

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Valid ARRT Radiography certification
  • Active BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
