Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic and interventional imaging procedures under radiologist direction.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain exams, and ensure correct positioning for optimal imaging.
- Operate radiologic and interventional imaging equipment efficiently to obtain high-quality studies.
- Maintain radiation safety standards to minimize patient exposure.
- Document imaging procedures and patient data in radiology information systems.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report malfunctions promptly.
- Follow departmental protocols, policies, and procedural guidelines.
- Support procedural workflow and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Valid state radiologic technologist license/registration.
- Minimum 1 year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices.
- Ability to operate imaging systems and maintain accurate documentation.
- Must meet pre-employment health clearance requirements.
- Prior Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience.
- Experience assisting with image-guided procedures.
- Familiarity with radiology information systems and procedural workflows.
- Strong patient communication and procedural support skills.
