FourStone Partners is an innovative consulting firm specializing in business development, sales outsourcing, and operational support services within the Workers' Compensation industry. Being bilingual is not required, though there may be times when our team communicates with Spanish speakers for whom English is a second language.


We are currently seeing a Radiology Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team! The Radiology Scheduling Coordinator will schedule appointments for radiology referrals. Prior medical scheduling experience within a provider's office strongly preferred. This is considered an entry level position.


Essential Duties:

  • Responds promptly and professionally to all communications
  • Types and enters data into scheduling software
  • Schedules radiology appointments with patients
  • Acquires insurance referrals and pre-authorizations as needed for appointments to be scheduled
  • Obtains necessary paperwork required for payment by the insurance provider including but not limited to obtaining the prescription, any pertinent information from a Primary Care Physician (PCP) or hospital; will follow-up with insurance provider as needed
  • Relays information regarding appointments to staff, medical care providers and family/guardians clearly and professionally
  • Tracks medical appointments to ensure all required and recommended medical follow up appointments and diagnostic imaging are scheduled and completed
  • Tracks documentation of all encounters with medical providers; ensures that the associated documentation reaches the responsible staff and that they are aware of the requested follow up
  • Supports the program to ensure the individual and staff are prepared for individual radiology appointments
  • Obtains consultative, diagnostic, and other clinical reports
  • Performs other work as assigned
