We're looking for a veterinary professional who is confident supporting general anesthesia, surgical nursing, veterinary dentistry, and advanced patient care in a fast-paced small animal practice.

What You'll Do
Surgery and Anesthesia
  • Prepare surgical patients for anesthesia and surgery
  • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthetic patients
  • Monitor ECG, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, capnography, temperature, and patient comfort
  • Assist veterinarians during routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures
  • Maintain sterile surgical technique and prepare instrumentation
  • Support post-operative pain management and patient recovery

Veterinary Dentistry
  • Perform or assist with dental prophylaxis
  • Obtain high-quality digital dental radiographs
  • Assist with dental procedures and extractions
  • Educate clients on preventive dental care and home maintenance

Advanced Patient Care
  • Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in condition
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records

Client Education
  • Discuss treatment plans and post-operative care
  • Review discharge instructions and medications
  • Build lasting client relationships through compassionate communication and education

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Assistant in a small animal practice
  • Demonstrated confidence with general anesthesia, surgical nursing, and patient monitoring
  • Comfortable placing IV catheters, performing venipuncture, and administering treatments
  • Experience assisting with routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries
  • Strong patient assessment and nursing skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, or CVT)
  • Experience performing dental prophylaxis and digital dental radiography
  • Strong knowledge of anesthetic monitoring, pain management, and perioperative nursing
  • Fear Free certification or handling experience
  • Passion for continuing education and professional growth
