Our Defense team in Salt Lake is eagerly looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role serves as the technical lead for investigating and preventing production hardware failures on missile and defense-related programs. The engineer is responsible for conducting failure investigations, analyzing test data and hardware performance, performing fault tree and root cause analyses, and determining the underlying causes of production issues. They work closely with engineering, manufacturing, test, and quality teams to develop corrective actions, improve processes, and prevent future failures.Additionally, the role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and customer communication, providing clear updates on investigation findings, hardware impacts, and recommended paths forward to ensure product quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.This is an on-site, collaborative working environment that offers a 9/80 schedule to include every other Friday off!
