Position Summary
The College and Career Coordinator supports students in developing post-secondary plans by promoting college, career, and workforce readiness. The successful candidate will collaborate with students, families, counselors, staff, and community partners to ensure all students are prepared for success after graduation.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement college and career readiness programming for students in grades 9 12.
  • Provide guidance and support related to post-secondary planning, career exploration, and workforce opportunities.
  • Coordinate college visits, career fairs, financial aid workshops, and other related events.
  • Assist students and families with college applications, scholarship opportunities, and the financial aid process.
  • Build partnerships with colleges, universities, employers, and community organizations.
  • Support students in identifying career pathways aligned to their interests, strengths, and goals.
  • Analyze student outcome data to improve college and career readiness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with school counselors, teachers, and administrators to integrate career readiness into the school experience.

Qualifications
  • Valid New Jersey instructional certificate required.
  • Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting college and career readiness initiatives.
  • Knowledge of college admissions processes, career exploration tools, and post-secondary planning resources.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience coordinating college and career success programs.
