Job description

Purpose:

Full Time – Hourly

Indicon is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person to join the Quality Team. This is a tight-knit, cross-functional group motivated by excellence and teamwork. It is Quality’s job to ensure we have materials that meet specifications coming into the plant, and that our finished products meet customer specifications as well as our own internal expectations. We work to consistently make things better.

Responsibilities and Duties

This is an entry-level Quality Team position with room to grow.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Inspecting incoming products to assure conformance to specifications/drawings

• Containing item inventory across the plant when issues are identified

• Analyzing defects of, and dispositioning non-conforming items

• Documenting and reporting on product quality levels

• Communicating with other team members to solve problems

• Respond to Production Line calls for Quality concerns or needs

• Following up with the appropriate channels when concerns are identified

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong communication, active listening, interpersonal, and writing skills

• Complex Problem Solving with strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Strong in MS Office – especially in Excel (ability to create - or learn to create - clean data tables, pivot tables, and charts to support analysis and decision making) & PowerPoint

• Good understanding of – or ability to learn – Syteline

• Detail-oriented and customer-focused

• Flexibility to juggle multiple projects

• Follow 6S practices daily
