Entry Level Quality information

How to get into quality control with no experience?

Entry level quality control positions often require minimal experience and focus on attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow procedures. Gaining relevant skills through online courses, certifications like Six Sigma Yellow Belt, or internships can improve chances, and being willing to learn on the job is important.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Entry-level quality roles typically do not pay $4,000 a week without specialized skills or certifications. High-paying jobs in fields like sales, real estate, or certain trades such as plumbing or electrical work can reach that level with experience, but they often require licensing or training. Most roles at this pay rate usually demand experience, advanced skills, or entrepreneurial effort.

Entry-Level Sales Representative (Door-to-Door – Appointment Setter)Mid to Top Performers Earn $50,000–$100,000+ per year Edmonton, AB & Surrounding Areas Full-time | Commission-Based | Floor Pay | Independent Contractor

About the Role

We are currently hiring motivated individuals to join our residential sales team in Edmonton.

This is a face-to-face, door-to-door role where you will speak directly with homeowners and book qualified appointments for our water treatment specialists.

You are not responsible for closing sales — your role is to generate high-quality opportunities.

We provide structured onboarding, field training, proven scripts, and daily coaching so you always know what to say and how to improve.

Your Role (Appointment Setter)

Everyone starts as an Appointment Setter.

Your responsibilities:

  • Knock on doors in residential neighbourhoods
  • Start conversations with homeowners
  • Identify interest in improving water quality
  • Book qualified in-home water tests/consultations
  • Track your activity and appointments

This is a simple but performance-driven role.

Compensation (Performance-Based)

This is a performance-based role with uncapped earnings.

  • Earn income from completed sales generated from your appointments
  • Typical earnings per successful deal from your appointments: $200–$400+
  • Weekly performance bonuses available

Earnings Structure:

Compensation is commission-based. A percentage of each contract sold is paid out.

Typical Weekly Earnings (based on performance):

  • Entry-level: $500–$1,000
  • Average performer: $1,000–$1,800
  • High performer: $1,800–$2,500+

Growth & Advancement

We promote based on performance — not tenure.

Clear path: Appointment Setter → Closer → Team Lead

Top performers can move into closing roles with significantly higher commissions.

Why This Role Works

  • No experience required (full training provided)
  • No cap on income
  • You control your results (no waiting on leads)
  • Rapid development of real-world sales skills
  • Clear advancement opportunities

Ideal Candidate

  • Self-motivated and competitive
  • Comfortable working outdoors and on their feet
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and coachable mindset
  • Driven by performance and income growth

Work Environment

  • Face-to-face, door-to-door residential canvassing
  • Assigned neighbourhoods and territories
  • Outdoor work (afternoons and evenings)

Typical Schedule:

  • Team meeting and training: early afternoon (3 times a week)
  • Fieldwork: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Attend daily team meetings for training and updates
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned areas
  • Speak directly with homeowners
  • Qualify potential customers
  • Schedule appointments using company systems
  • Track activity and performance metrics

Important (Please Read Before Applying)

This is a door-to-door sales role.

You will be:

  • Working outside daily
  • Facing frequent rejection (most doors will say no)
  • Paid based entirely on performance

If you are looking for a traditional hourly or desk-based role, this position will not be a fit.
