Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI) is seeking a motivated Transport Refrigeration Unit Installer to join our team in Janesville, WI. In this dedicated onsite role, you'll install transport refrigeration and heating systems on commercial vehicles as they move through the production process at a customer manufacturing facility.

This is a hands-on opportunity in a fast-paced production environment where your work directly supports the cold chain industry and helps keep essential goods moving across the country.

What You'll Do
  • Install self-powered and vehicle-powered transport refrigeration units on commercial vehicles
  • Install Espar heating systems and related components
  • Mount, wire, and commission refrigeration and heating equipment according to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure systems are properly installed and ready for service
  • Work closely with customer production staff to maintain workflow and production schedules
  • Safely operate forklifts, hoists, hand tools, and power tools
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Occasionally travel for training or support at other TRI locations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred
  • Basic set of standard and metric hand tools (air tools preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding work
