Quality Control Inspector
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Entry Level Inspector for a company based in Southwest Houston, Texas. Responsible for conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Pay Rate
$17.00 - 18.00 an hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Quality Control Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
• Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gage
• Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to enter data into report
Quality Control Inspector Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 6 months experience
• Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred
• Forklift experience
• Must be able to do simple math
• Ability to interpret technical product specs
• Strong attention to detail
• Computer proficiency
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)
