Machine Operator (Injection Molding)

Mukwonago, WI 53149 | Full-time (Temp-to-hire)

Shift Options & Pay (12-hour rotation | 2-2-3 schedule):

  • 1st Shift (Mornings): 6:20 AM – 6:30 PM | $18.50/hour
  • 2nd Shift (Nights): 6:20 PM – 6:30 AM | $20.35/hour

Schedule:

This position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, which may include weekends and alternating days off.

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. Operators are responsible for safely and efficiently running multiple injection molding machines while ensuring product quality meets company standards.

No prior machine operating experience is required—this is an entry-level position. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate 3–4 injection molding machines simultaneously

  • Load machines with plastic materials as required

  • Monitor machine operation to ensure proper performance

  • Inspect finished parts for defects, including:- Checking for flashing on parts

    • Removing and discarding defective products
    • Reporting any quality issues or machine concerns to a supervisor
  • Perform quality control tests, including:- Leak Test: Verify lids do not leak

    • Lift Test: Ensure lids open properly and meet durability standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
  • Entry-level friendly – no machine operation experience required
  • Willingness to learn and be trained on equipment
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
