Position Summary:
The FSQA Associate acts as a hands-on resource for daily food safety and quality checks, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and Grandma Quality expectations. This role supports the Supervisor in training and guiding Associates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-op inspections, in-process checks, and finished product evaluations.
  • Verify sanitation completion and environmental monitoring results.
  • Maintain accurate FSQA records and assist with audit preparation.
  • Train Associates on proper inspection techniques and documentation.
  • Report deviations and assist in root cause analysis.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in food safety preferred.
  • 2+ years of FSQA or QA experience in food manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and basic microbiological concepts.

Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Work in cold/hot environments and wear PPE consistently.
