Position Summary

Lee Kennedy Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety & Quality Administrative Professional to support the daily operations of our Safety & Quality Department. This entry-level role is essential to ensuring projects are properly set up from a safety perspective, documentation is accurately maintained, and project teams receive the administrative support needed to uphold our commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Project Setup & Safety Documentation

  • Prepare safety and quality documentation for new construction projects.
  • Develop project-specific Site Safety Plans using company templates.
  • Create and distribute project safety orientation materials.
  • Ensure project safety documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Maintain project safety and quality files.

Safety Administration

  • Coordinate project safety audits and inspections.
  • Compile and distribute safety audit reports.
  • Track corrective actions and follow up with project teams.
  • Maintain department records, forms, and templates.
  • Assist with OSHA logs, safety metrics, and reporting.
  • Manage document control for safety policies and procedures.
  • Support subcontractor safety prequalification.
  • Generate reports and dashboards using Excel and Procore.
  • Help standardize department processes and templates.

Project & Department Support

  • Support project startup and onboarding activities.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Maintain department calendars and schedules.
    • Coordinate safety and quality meetings, including agendas and minutes.
    • Assist with special projects and process improvements.
    • Build knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.

    Communication & Collaboration

    • Communicate professionally with project teams, subcontractors, and internal departments.
    • Partner with Operations, HR, and Project Management to maintain accurate safety and quality documents.
    • Provide responsive support to field personnel and internal customers.

    Qualifications

    Required

      • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

      • Familiarity with Procore construction management software.
      • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to organize data and create reports.
      • Understanding ofconstruction project documentation.

      Compensation and Benefits

      The estimated salary range for this position is$55,000 - $75,000 annually,representingthe company's good-faith and reasonable estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final offer will be based on factors such as experience, skills, responsibilities, and current market conditions.
