Responsible for maintaining gage calibrations. Responsible for determining accuracy of heat codes and material test reports. Responsible for initiating documentation for nonconforming materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished assemblies. Verification of effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive actions. Maintain a professional relationship with machinists, assemblers, test technicians, final prep personnel, and supervisors and managers. Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the QMS. Comply with all health and safety rules. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in an environment where the employee may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, working around moving mechanical parts.
