Job description

*Swing Shift (2pm-10:30pm) Openings
The Production Technician is responsible for preparing bulk cannabis for pre-roll production and/or bulk flower for packaging. This position requires accurately tracking the weight of materials used throughout the production process, as well as documenting any waste. Responsibilities include performing quality control inspections on pre-rolls produced by the Hefestus machine, tubing and jarring pre-rolls, and jarring and packaging flower. Additional duties include scaling, tampering, labeling, and boxing RFS units while ensuring all products meet company quality standards. This is a manufacturing position in a production environment, and GMP standards apply.

Operate and maintain accurate scales.
Maintain strict paper records of weighed products, boxed items, equipment maintenance, QC, and 
duration to complete the task. 
Record keeping of all details pertinent to production weights of projects, time to complete each 
project, number of units produced, efficiency of the machine, and QC.
Follow all standard operations procedures set forth by management.
Filling multi packs into jars and filling single 1-gram pre rolls into individual tubes.
Packaging and checking products with accuracy.
Scaling bulk flower with accurate weight. 
Tampering, labeling and packaging jarred flower
Ensuring all bins boxes, trays holding material are labeled with Item Master and metrc UID
Cleaning of production equipment and facility.
Maintaining strict inventory records of products, materials, and equipment.
Storing supplies and equipment, disposal of waste, and keeping work area in pristine condition is 
standard.
Working collectively and respectfully with other team members is culture.
Be able to culture safety and attention to detail.
Production of various other Aeriz products as needed.
GMP and 5S principles apply. 
Skills & Requirements:
Must be 21+ years old
Familiar with pneumatic equipment preferred
Familiar with operating automated machinery preferred
Pass a Background Check
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Knowledge of GMP and Lean Manufacturing principles are preferred
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch and lift to 30 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.

Work Environment:
 
This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors, which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
