Job Description:

The Role:

The Quality Control Inspector will inspect and test products against predetermined specifications to determine if requirements are being met. They will work in a team environment or independently and are responsible for helping and assisting the quality and reliability of our products.

What you'll do:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily inspection on incoming material

  • Work in team settings to provide timely results

  • Use tools such as caliper and micrometers to inspect product

  • Draft inspection reports as may be necessary

  • Work with calibrations, nonconforming product, and quality related programs

  • Additional duties as assigned by Manager

What you need to know:

Experience/Skills/Education:

Required:

  • Experience in a QC role with a background in manufacturing, preferably in the medical device industry

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings with strong attention to details

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • The ability to articulate concise reports

Desired:

  • Medical device industry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

  • Manufacturing environment requiring prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting, and handling of inspection tools and materials.

  • Frequent use of precision measuring instruments including calipers, gauges, and micrometers.

  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.

  • Exposure to manufacturing noise, machinery, and varied temperatures; appropriate PPE required at all times.

This is a contract/contingent role. The pay rate for this engagement is $21.50 - $23.50 per hour. Compensation for this role is paid by an authorized third-party staffing agency, who will serve as the employer of record for this engagement. Hydrafacial's compensation and benefits programs - including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off - do not apply to this role. Benefits eligibility, if any, is determined by the employer of record.
