Now Hiring: QA/QC Technician - Data Center Project (Montgomery, AL)

Location: Montgomery, Alabama
Start Date: Approximately the 2nd week of June
Pay: TBD, based on experience
Per Diem: TBD for qualified travelers
Schedule: Full-time | Long-term project

United Trades of America is currently hiring a QA/QC Technician for a high-profile data center construction project in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a critical role focused on ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across all phases of construction. If you are detail-oriented and experienced in quality assurance/control for industrial or commercial builds, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections and testing of mechanical, electrical, or structural systems according to project specifications

  • Monitor installation practices and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA/QC documentation, reports, and logs

  • Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve deficiencies

  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs, and applicable codes

  • Document and report non-conformance issues and confirm resolution through corrective actions

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in commercial or industrial construction

  • Experience with data centers or mission-critical projects is highly preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of ITPs, submittals, RFIs, and construction documents

  • Familiarity with construction codes, specifications, and jobsite safety requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QA/QC tracking tools

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred

Additional Requirements:
  • Must provide own PPE and tools
