Job Title:  Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers
Location:  Austin, TX

Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the clientโ€™s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
  2. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing as required.
  3. Identify, document, track, and retest defects while collaborating with development teams on issue resolution.
  4. Prepare test results, quality reports, and supporting documentation while contributing to improvements in testing processes.
     

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Experience in software quality assurance and testing, including test execution, defect management, requirements validation, and SDLC processes.

Technical Skills

Test Case Design, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, SQL/Database Testing, API Testing, Defect Management, Test Management Tools

Business / Domain Skills

Requirements Analysis, Quality Assurance, Software Development Lifecycle, Risk-Based Testing, Business Process Validation, Stakeholder Collaboration

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.
