Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Denver, Colorado

Pay rate: $ 60 To $ 65 per week

Experience: Quality assurance, manual testing, automation testing, API testing, or performance testing experience required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst for a hybrid contract opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This role is responsible for manual and automated testing, test planning, defect management, API testing, performance testing, application debugging, and ensuring reliable, high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and QA documentation

• Perform manual, functional, regression, API, exploratory, and performance testing

• Design and maintain automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through the full defect lifecycle

• Analyze application failures using developer tools, logs, HTTP requests, stack traces, and debugging tools

• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, system teams, and management to resolve defects

• Support test data management, production data analysis, quality metrics, and risk mitigation activities

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle, and test case design techniques required

• Experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, Zephyr Scale, GitLab, and automation testing preferred

• Experience with API testing, performance testing, defect tracking, and test management tools required

• Knowledge of Chrome DevTools, application logs, HTTP requests/responses, stack traces, and diagnostics preferred

• Knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL databases, test data management, and data governance preferred

• Experience with MCP, AI-assisted testing, or modern AI-based QA practices preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
