About This Role 

A Day in the Life of a Software Engineer:

  • Developing solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope on both current and next generation technologies in support of our family of Surface Vehicle products 

  • Performing software development of new products across all phases of the product lifecycle from concept development to lab and offsite integration and evaluation 

  • Performing software development at component, subsystem and system level including embedded control systems and sensor/operator interface development 

  • Working cohesively on a multi-functional team with exciting technologies and products 

  • Providing offsite integration and test support  

  • Other related duties as assigned 

Qualifications 

  • What You'll Need:  

      • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/computer engineering/CIS/MISor a related field 

      • C/C , C#, Python, and/or Java programming 

      • Basic shell scripting experience 

      • Ability to work 40 hours/week (with every other Friday off!) 

      • Ability to obtain a security clearance 

      • Traveling up to 20% of the time
