POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diversified Energy is seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded Energy Marketing Analyst to support natural gas, NGL, crude oil, and midstream commercial operations. This entry-level position is designed for an individual eager to learn the energy business, solve complex problems, and build relationships across a fast-paced commercial organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze natural gas, NGL, crude oil, and energy market fundamentals.
  • Monitor commodity pricing, basis differentials, transportation constraints, and market trends.
  • Support scheduling, balancing, settlements, invoicing, accruals, and monthly close activities.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.
  • Support customer proposals, contract administration, and commercial evaluations.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with process improvement and automation initiatives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Energy Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Internship or work experience in energy, finance, logistics, operations, or analytics.
  • Experience with Calude, ChatGPT, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of commodity markets and energy infrastructure.
