Key Responsibilities:
Design Engineering and Requirements Management: Support requirements and interface clarification by documenting assumptions, tracking questions, and confirming acceptance criteria with the team. Support system design and development by helping define functional/technical requirements, interfaces (ICDs), and traceability from requirements to design and test evidence. Create and update electrical design artifacts (schematics, wiring, calculations, and parts lists) and participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and standard compliance. Maintain accurate, controlled documentation (drawings, calculations, analyses, and compliance evidence) in accordance with engineering and quality processes.
Verification, Validation and Integration: Support verification and validation activities by drafting test plans/procedures, helping set up tests, collecting data, and contributing to reports. Contribute to system integration and system test engineering activities (test planning, test setup, execution, data analysis, and issue tracking) to verify end-to-end performance against requirements.
Issue Resolution: Identify technical risks and issues, escalate as needed, and assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions for test, production, or field findings. Contribute to customer-facing technical discussions by preparing materials, documenting action items, and supporting timely closure with the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in design reviews by presenting work products, incorporating feedback, and following standard work and engineering best practices. Collaborate with Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues, support change requests, and keep tasks aligned to schedule.
What will make you successful?

You apply structured problem-solving, ask insightful questions, and communicate effectively in various settings to support technical alignment and timely issue resolution. You contribute successfully in cross-functional Agile environments, leveraging systems engineering and system test fundamentals-along with proficiency in C/C++, Python, and modern development tools-to support requirements, integration, and verification activities. You are able to design unit/integration tests, debug issues, and are familiar with embedded and firmware concepts. We are looking for candidates who are diverse in their backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team.

  • Experience supporting EMC testing and troubleshooting (including test setup definition, witness testing, and report review).
  • Experience working in regulated, safety-critical environments and producing compliance evidence for customer or third-party review.
  • Familiarity with requirements management and change control in a product lifecycle management environment.
