Job description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Cloud Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions for our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our cloud engineering team to automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) to automate cloud infrastructure deployment, scaling, and management.

  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM.

  • Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps to automate application deployment and testing.

  • Implement security and compliance automation solutions to ensure cloud resources are configured and managed in accordance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure real-time visibility into cloud resource performance, security, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with cloud engineering team to identify automation opportunities, share knowledge, and implement best practices.

  • Troubleshoot automation issues and provide support to cloud engineering team to ensure smooth operation of cloud infrastructure.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools to continuously improve automation solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in automation, cloud computing, and DevOps

  • Strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM

  • Experience with one of cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.

  • Certifications in cloud computing, automation, or DevOps

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack

  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
