Southern Health Partners is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team at the Houston County Jail. Whether you're a Licensed Master Counselor (LMC), Licensed Social Worker, or Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN), you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate mental health care to an underserved population while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team.

What You'll Do

Conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and evaluations
Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with medical providers regarding psychiatric care and medication management
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case reviews
Educate patients on coping skills, wellness, and available mental health resources
Help promote a safe, supportive, and therapeutic correctional healthcare environment

Qualifications

Licensed Master Counselor (LMC), Licensed Social Worker, or Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) eligible to practice in Georgia
Current unrestricted professional license or multistate nursing license (if applicable)
Strong assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Experience in behavioral health, community mental health, crisis services, or correctional healthcare is preferred but not required
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
