Job Description

Adult inpatient Psych NP Opportunity- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner needed at Dept of Mental health run facility.  


40 hours per week (flexible daytime Schedule), No Nights, Weekends or Call


Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will perform intake evaluations, medication management, develop treatment plans and overall treatment follow up. 


Diagnostic medication assessments and ongoing medication management services to and adults with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in an Inpatient setting


Most admissions are intermediate care patients transferred from private psychiatric hospitals in the acute care system. These inpatient units provide longer-term and more intensive inpatient psychiatric treatment for DMH-eligible patients, and they also provide forensic evaluations of criminal defendants for the Massachusetts judicial system 


Must have a Federal DEA number and a MA Prescriber registration number for prescribing privileges
