Job description

Project Coordinator | Albany, New York, United States Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Albany, NY 100% Remote
Duration: 2 Years Contract
Pay: $30-45/hr
Client Quality Assurance Team is seeking a 2-year contract resource to support program management across four programs, including a new electric school bus QA initiative. The role is fully remote (EST zone required) at 40 hours/week, with minimal travel. The ideal candidate is entry-level with strong interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills - clean energy background is a plus but not required.
Experience requirement: Minimum 1 year in project management or related field; internships count toward the requirement
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; associate's degree with 3 years relevant experience accepted
Software: No hard requirements - Salesforce, Tableau, and Excel are strong pluses but will be taught
Role Responsibilities
Liaison with joint utilities: Bi-weekly coordination on contractor performance, quality trends, and inspection findings
New program launch: Build QA framework for electric school bus (clean transportation) program from scratch
Documentation: Lead development and maintenance of QA manual and policies/procedures for the overarching QA program
Program support: Manage QA activities for Clean/Comfort Homes and Healthy Homes programs (both low volume)
Writing ability: Must translate complex information into accessible SOPs/manuals (6th-grade reading level)
Team adaptability: Experience working in team environments and across concurrent projects
Optional/ad hoc: Floating PV inspection (Cohoes, NY); electric school bus field inspections - location adjusted to candidate's proximity
