CMMS CPAs & Advisors and ATLAS Navigators Firm are seeking passionate, eager students for a tax internship position in our Lubbock and Amarillo offices for the 2026 spring semester.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Completed two or more years of coursework at an accredited university with an accounting major tracking toward a bachelor's or master's degree
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills to effectively communicate issues
  • A professional demeanor with a willingness to actively participate in meetings
  • Great flexibility and self-management skills to handle multiple simultaneous projects
You will help support our tax services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. This includes learning:
  • CCH Axcess Tax Software
  • Client Document Review
  • Tax Return Preparation
  • Cross-Team and Client Communication
  • Research and Special Project Assistance
The role may expand into other accounting areas based on your workflow progress, technical ability, and proactivity. Future roles as an intern or entry-level associate may be offered based on job performance in this position.
Expected Employment Period: Mid-January 2027 - Mid-April 2027
