Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entery Project Coordinator Specialist to join our team in our Eatonton office. Individual will accurately input cabinet orders into our production system and coordinate project workflow. This position is critical to ensuring our manufacturing floor receives complete and accurate order information for timely production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter cabinet order specifications into the production management system with high accuracy
  • Review customer orders, blueprints, and specifications to ensure all details are captured correctly
  • Input dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware selections, and special instructions
  • Verify order information for completeness and flag any discrepancies or missing information
  • Effectively communicate with designer and field team on project timelines and deliveries
  • Exercise working product knowledge of cabinets, accessories, colors, and Cosmo offerings
  • Receive and review field measurements from Field Service Managers for order processing
  • Update schedule of values (Excel) for all multifamily projects with SKUs, project unit matrix, and any unit changes that may be needed for accurate order processing
  • Process sales orders to production release (2020 Insight), effectively communicate with process engineers, multifamily estimator and designer about project status/sales order process and release
  • Generate work orders and production tickets for the manufacturing floor
  • Receive and process replacement parts orders and urgent parts orders from the field team, communicate status of parts order to field managers
  • Maintain status as plant point of contact for the field managers
  • Work with supply chain team to procure cabinet decorative hardware for active projects and track inventory levels of said hardware in plant
  • Track door/drawer frontals for shaker/thermofoil projects, occasionally issue purchase order requests to supply chain team when needed for parts orders/punch out
  • Schedule load pickups and deliveries for said projects between plant and field team
  • Process sample orders and communicate status with sales team
  • Coordinate project timelines and track orders through various production stages
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for order documentation
  • Update order status as projects move through production stages
  • Perform quality checks on entered data to minimize production errors

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven data entry experience with strong typing skills (minimum 50 WPM preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic understanding of measurements and ability to read technical drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing or cabinet/woodworking industry
  • Familiarity with production management software (2020 Insight experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of cabinet construction, terminology, and product offerings
  • Previous project coordination experience
  • Experience working with field service teams and supply chain operations

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Comfortable working at a computer workstation throughout the day
