Job Description

AECOM is seeking qualified individuals to be a part of our Michigan based underwater inspection team.  This role will provide the opportunity to directly be involved with underwater structural assessments on projects throughout the United States.

  • This position will require performing and assisting with surface supplied diving operations. 
  • Execute each project ensuring a satisfied customer including legal requirements such as: ADCI regulations, USACE provisions and state and federal laws.
  • Ensuring the safety of all divers and equipment, participating in safety briefings, and responding to emergencies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of diving operations.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • ACDE Dive School Diploma or Military Diving Diploma
  • ADCI Entry Level Diver/Tender (Or ability to obtain with Military Experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • FHWA-NHI-130055 or 130056 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges Certification
  • FHWA-NHI-130091 Underwater Bridge Inspection
  • ADCI Air Diver or ADCI Air Diving Supervisor
  • TWIC Card
