Position Description
Join a third-generation, family-owned commercial construction company with over 70 years of excellence and a strong commitment to community. We're seeking an adaptable, driven Project Engineer who thrives in a team-oriented, professional environment.
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing administrative and technical support to Project Managers, Superintendents and other field operations staff to achieve the effective, timely and profitable fulfillment of construction projects; maintaining positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and other parties and supporting opportunities for future business; communicating and collaborating with members of management and staff within the Group and throughout the company; supporting and personally adhering to the M-K core values, safety culture and related policies and practices, as well as all company operating and regulatory compliance-focused policies and practices.
Essential Duties:
  • Provide technical support to the project team
  • Maintain project plans, drawings, and reports
  • Attend weekly progress meetings and record minutes
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Create and manage submittals and RFI logs
  • Provide project reports and reporting data
  • Support closeout, warranty, and punch out processes
  • Support development of project schedules
  • Administer change orders and review claims
  • Provide owner/client communication
