Project Engineer who thrives in a team-oriented, professional environment.
General Responsibilities:Responsible for providing administrative and technical support to Project Managers, Superintendents and other field operations staff to achieve the effective, timely and profitable fulfillment of construction projects; maintaining positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and other parties and supporting opportunities for future business; communicating and collaborating with members of management and staff within the Group and throughout the company; supporting and personally adhering to the M-K core values, safety culture and related policies and practices, as well as all company operating and regulatory compliance-focused policies and practices.
Essential Duties:- Provide technical support to the project team
- Maintain project plans, drawings, and reports
- Attend weekly progress meetings and record minutes
- Maintain accurate records
- Create and manage submittals and RFI logs
- Provide project reports and reporting data
- Support closeout, warranty, and punch out processes
- Support development of project schedules
- Administer change orders and review claims
- Provide owner/client communication

Education/Experience:- A two-year degree in related field required, with a B.S. or B.A degree in a related field of study preferred; specific training and education focused on the construction project management disciple and processes helpful.
- This is an entry level position with no experience required; however, experience in a field related to commercial construction is helpful.
