AI Platform Engineer III Job Summary AI Platform Engineer III

The AI Platform Engineer III is responsible for designing,developing, implementing, governing, and supporting enterpriseartificial intelligence solutions across the University. Thisposition serves as a technical leader for generative AI platforms,AI-powered applications, custom agents, workflow automation, andenterprise AI adoption.

The successful candidate will possess demonstrated experienceadministering enterprise AI platforms, developing custom AI agentsand GPTs, implementing agentic workflows, applying advanced promptengineering techniques, and building AI-powered business solutionsthat improve productivity, automate business processes, supportfinancial reporting and analysis, and enhancedecision-making.

This position works closely with university leadership,researchers, business units, developers, security teams, andtechnology partners to identify, develop, and operationalizehigh-value AI use cases. Responsibilities include AI platformadministration, AI solution architecture, agent development, AIgovernance, enterprise integrations, and business processautomation.

This is not an entry-level AI position. Candidates must demonstrateprior hands-on experience working with enterprise AI platforms,large language models, agentic frameworks, custom AI agents, and AIsolution development. The selected candidate will be expected tocontribute immediately as an experienced AI practitioner.
