L3Harris is looking for an Associate, Program Scheduler/Planner.ย  A entry-level professional with broad theoretical job knowledge. Works under general direction and guidance within standard processes for non-routine tasks. Communicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information. Contributes to systems and processes changes in work routines. Works to achieve operational targets that impact team results. The Program Scheduler works consists of less-routine tasks in contribution to changes in systems and processes to solve problems. May be required to apply discretion within identified boundaries and procedures. Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized. Expected to propose solutions to problems for others review. Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines. ย

Essential Functions:ย 

  • Responsible for detailed schedule analysis of network logic and critical path.ย 

  • Performs "what if" scenarios for individual program management team members.ย 

  • Performs schedule variance analysis by comparing baseline to schedule.ย 

  • Leads management team in schedule development.ย 

  • Resolves critical path and network conflicts.ย 

  • Developsย new scheduling procedures, methods, and concepts.ย 

  • Reviews andย developsย highly complexย schedule network logic for errors and inconsistencies.ย 

  • Ensures compliance with internal program procedures as well as PCS (Project Control Systems) guidelines and IMS DID (Integratedย Master Schedule Data Item Description).ย 

  • Provide leadership functions to other schedulers.ย 

  • Provide schedule training to department,ย engineeringย and Controller's organization.ย 

  • Ensures management understanding of network logic, Gantt, pert, milestone lists, and resource information in the schedule. ย

Qualifications:ย 

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degreeย in Program Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrialย Engineeringย or related field orย have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age. ย
