Job Purpose
The Finance Graduate Development Program is a 3-year program that offers an exciting opportunity for high potential individuals looking to gain the experience, skills, and exposure that they need to help launch their career at EnerSys. Participants in the program will rotate through 4 functional areas within the Finance department: Internal Audit, General Accounting, Cost Accounting, & FP&A.
 
During these rotations, the individual will be assigned routine tasks and projects including implementing improvements to existing processes using EOS (EnerSys Operating System) techniques. The individual will also develop relationships with colleagues and management as well as gain an understanding of EnerSys’s business.
 
The individual will be provided with specific training, hands-on coaching, and mentorship. Additionally, the individual will be provided with clear goals and measurement criteria for success in each rotation and regular evaluations throughout the program. At the end of the program, the individual will have the opportunity to apply for permanent roles at EnerSys. Permanent roles may require relocation.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Minimal: Annual Physical Count & potential Site Visits

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
  • Must have a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Desire to pursue higher education, CPA or other certifications

Other Skills:

  • Microsoft Suite including Excel, Powerpoint, & Word
  • Large Language Model (i.e. Chat GPT/Co Pilot) and AI tool experience a plus
  • Ability to present findings and data to different audiences up to the Executive level
  • Must be highly motivated
  • Must be creative in finding solutions and overcoming obstacles
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Must exhibit a servant attitude toward colleagues and internal customers
