Position Summary: Responsible for the safe and efficient handling and packaging of products to be shipped to suppliers and customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Proper handling, packaging and preservation of productMaintain a safe, clean and organized work environmentIdentify and report safety concerns to the Packing Team LeaderIdentify and report maintenance needs to the Packing Team LeaderWork with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product and respond accordinglyInterpretation of work orders and packaging instructionsComplete and submit daily production reportsMaintain a good attendance recordQualifications: This is an entry level position and does not require any specific qualifications other than presenting a strong work ethic and good attendance.Education and/or Experience: High School diploma preferredLanguage/Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed).
