Job description

Our client is seeking a motivated Quality Intern to support quality assurance, inspection, compliance, and continuous-improvement activities within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with inspection of precision components
  • Review manufacturing documentation and quality records
  • Support internal audits
  • Collect and analyze quality KPIs
  • Assist with nonconforming-material investigations
  • Support root-cause and CAPA documentation
  • Verify compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements
  • Assist with AS9102 First Article documentation
  • Maintain quality records and filing systems
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and data summaries
  • Support calibration records and gauge tracking
  • Observe manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace, or Quality Engineering; Engineering Technology; or a related technical discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
