Job Responsibilities:
Process Improvement: Assist in the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Confers with management to set continuous improvement goals and objectives
Technical Support: Provide support to production teams by troubleshooting equipment issues and recommending solutions to improve operational performance.
Develops training materials for lean process training and implementation
Provides training and mentoring to employees on lean process implementation
Facilitates and leads the continuous improvement process by identifying training needs and providing training in problem solving methodology, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
Engages the leadership team in setting and achieving goals utilizing Lean initiatives. This includes working with key leadership both functionally and strategically to drive overall improvements in specific areas.
Create metrics, deployment goals, and objectives to drive accountability throughout the organization.
Lead the implementation of Lean programs from inception to completion.
Provides input and feedback to key leadership positions about process improvement opportunities.
Change Management - Develops workable implementation plans; Communicates changes effectively; Builds commitment and overcomes resistance; Prepares and supports those affected by change; Monitors transition and evaluates results.
Documentation: Help create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flows.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, quality assurance, and production, to ensure smooth integration of new processes and technologies.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, measure performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Training: Assist in training production personnel on new processes, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.


Required Skills/Education:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in implementing lean principles in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and Lean principles.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, data analysis software).
