Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Entry level knowledge within the Electrical Engineering discipline with the capabilities and the initiative to perform tasks with supervisory/mentor assistance as required
  • Ability to learn technical skills and assist with low & medium power distribution design and layout
  • Become familiar with and assist with substation design, short circuit analysis, and ARC flash studies
  • Assist with development of wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Assist with electrical calculations including short circuit, load flow, arc flash, motor starting, harmonic, device coordination, and voltage drop
  • Design conduit, cable tray, and underground duct bank
  • Verify field conditions as needed
  • Learn P&ID development
  • Become familiar with instrumentation selection and specifications
  • Assist with instrument loop diagrams, location plans, and installations details
  • Learn the development of sequence of operation and functional description documents
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • 0-3 Years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer
  • Must be well organized and able to prioritize work
  • Ability to set and track goals
  • Ability to multi-task and work on more than one project at a time
  • Able to commit to and meet project deadlines, and driven to provide outstanding service to both external and internal customers
