Position Overview


As a Production Technician, you'll support various stages of cabinet manufacturing, finishing and shipping/receiving. Working closely with our production team, you'll help ensure that each product meets our high-quality standards, from raw material to delivery.


What You'll Do


  • Sand or prepare surfaces using hand or power tools.
  • Operate finishing tools (sprayers, brushes) to apply conversion varnishes and other coatings.
  • Assist with CNC operations and quality inspection.
  • Assemble cabinet components including cabinet carcasses, drawer boxes, shelves, and doors.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.
  • Handle raw materials and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Receive and sort incoming deliveries and organize storage areas.
  • Prepare completed product for delivery with precision and care.
  • Support basic maintenance and report defects or missing materials.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.


Who You Are


  • Able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Physically fit - able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks (bending, standing, etc.).
  • Comfortable in varying temperatures (hot, humid, or cold).
  • Motivated, reliable, and committed to quality work.
  • Excellent problem solver and a team player.


Qualifications


  • This is an entry level position.
  • Training or experience in woodworking, cabinetry, finishing or manufacturing is an asset.
  • Able to read a tape measure and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
  • Certifications in First Aid, WHMIS, or Joint Health & Safety are a plus (not required).
