T-Shirt Press Operator (Production Team)

About Us:
Lightfire Printing is a fast-growing custom print shop specializing in DTF transfers, embroidery, wide-format printing, and personalized apparel and products. We operate multiple production departments and focus on quality, efficiency, and strong teamwork to deliver high-quality custom products to our customers.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented T-Shirt Press Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for pressing DTF transfers onto apparel, preparing garments for production, ensuring quality control, and assisting with order fulfillment.
This position requires someone who is organized, works well in a fast-paced production environment, and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality finished products.
No prior print experience is required, but experience in apparel printing, heat pressing, or production environments is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate heat press machines to apply DTF transfers onto garments.
  • Prepare garments for production including staging, sizing, and layout of designs.
  • Ensure correct placement and alignment of designs before pressing.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure prints meet company standards.
  • Trim and prepare printed transfers when needed.
  • Fold finished garments neatly and prepare orders for packing.
  • Assist with packing and shipping completed orders.
  • Maintain production pace to meet daily order deadlines.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
  • Communicate any production issues or defects to management.
