Pacific Northwest Fertility & IVF Specialists is a state-of-the-art clinic that offers a wide variety of treatments, ranging from basic care to the most advanced fertility technologies. We are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our growing team at our Seattle or Bellevue clinic. Medical Assistants are an integral part of our team and vital to helping us create tailored, personal treatment plans for each of our patients. The Medical Assistant we are seeking has excellent communication skills, projects a pleasant and professional image, and likes to be busy with a variety of duties and responsibilities. This may be an excellent opportunity to gain medical office experience for pre-nursing and pre-med students.
General duties:
  • Assist with procedures such as Hysteroscopies, Saline Infusions, Ultrasounds, IUIs, Hysterosalpingograms, and Ovum Aspirations
  • Measure patient vital signs
  • Manage rooming and patient flow through the clinic
  • Prepare, stock, and clean rooms
  • Demonstrate proficiency in instrument processing and maintenance of inventory
  • Demonstrate proficiency in blood draws and injections
  • Perform clerical duties to maintain effective office operations
  • Cross-train with Clinic Teams to offer support, including the Patient Care Coordinator Team
  • Provide support to providers by anticipating provider needs
  • Manage medical records and surgery scheduling for Care Teams
  • Assist with patient communication (may include phone calls, voicemails, emails, web communication)
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Interest in Women's Health and/or OB/GYN. Experience preferred but not required.
  • Employer will sponsor MA-R and MA-P for the right candidate.
  • Strong interest in phlebotomy. Employer will train the right candidate.
  • High School Diploma
  • Current BLS certification or re-certification within one month of hire.
  • Ability to obtain a Medical Assistant License (MA-C, MA-R, or MA-P) through the Washington State Department of Health.
