Job description

Making the famous Little Trees air fresheners here in the USA since 1952.
Summary:
The Little Trees Legal Department is a small, dynamic team responsible for protecting the trademarks, copyrights, and patents associated with Little Trees air fresheners around the world.
Responsibilities:
  • Investigate & research new matters.
  • Recommend strategies to address infringements.
  • Draft summaries for attorneys.
  • Review drafts of legal briefs.
  • Provide in-country attorneys with the information they require.
  • Evaluate and manage the in-country attorneys to ensure good outcomes.
  • Maintain legal files.
  • Follow SOPs and recommend modifications as appropriate.
  • Review trademark gazettes.

Requirements:
  • One year of office experience required OR
  • Associate's degree
  • This is an entry level position and requires no legal experience.
  • Travel to the corporate office in Watertown, NY for the first month of orientation, followed by routine travel to the corporate office for one week every other month.

Salary: $56,740 - $59,740
