suspects; and collect, preserve, and document evidence. Make arrests, issue citations, execute lawful orders and warrants, and
transport detainees as

Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports, affidavits, and case documentation.
Perform community policing activities, including public assistance, outreach, and
relationship- building. Operate departmental vehicles, firearms, and law- enforcement equipment
safely and responsibly.
Maintain required law- enforcement certifications, firearms qualifications, and training
standards.
Comply with shift work, overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency call- outs.
Execute and enforce orders of the Muscogee ( Creek) Nation Courts and other lawful judicial
processes.
Perform other sworn law- enforcement duties consistent with the
responsibilities of a Police
Officer as assigned.
Use of Firearms and Force
This is a sworn law-enforcement position. The Police Officer must be capable of carrying and,
when required, using firearms and applying force consistent with applicable law, departmental
policy, and training standards.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Ability to perform physically demanding law- enforcement duties, including standing, walking,
running, lifting, restraining individuals, and defensive actions. Ability to respond to emergency situations, including extended or irregular
hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Ability to function effectively in high- stress, rapidly evolving, and potentially dangerous environments.
Exposure to hazardous conditions, including violent or combative individuals, critical
incidents, traffic hazards, and adverse weather conditions.
Minimum Requirements: Education: Associate' s degree in Criminal Justice or related field, OR must obtain
