Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pain Management Clinic

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (no nights, no call, no weekends)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pain Management team in a clinical and procedure-based setting. This role works closely with one physician and two nurse practitioners to support patient care, procedures, and daily clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physician and nurse practitioners with patient care and in-office procedures
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures; maintain proper room setup and sterile technique
  • Perform urine drug screenings (UDS) per protocol
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document accurately in the EMR ( Athena)
  • Administer medications and injections as directed
  • Call patients with results, instructions, and follow-up information
  • Schedule patient appointments and assist with care coordination
  • Provide patient education, including post-procedure instructions
  • Maintain exam/procedure rooms and ensure supplies are stocked
  • Support efficient clinic flow and teamwork across departments
Qualifications
  • Active LPN license in the state of Florida
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or procedure-based clinic preferred; willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong clinical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
