Clinical Responsibilities may include: • Direct patient care for medically and socially complex patients, with a focus on the multi- cultural and multi-lingual communities served by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. • Supervise and mentor UCSF medical students, residents, and fellows. • Inpatient clinical duties on the Medicine Resident Inpatient Service at ZSFG.

Qualifications: • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality care to urban underserved populations. • MD or DO with Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine (ABIM certification preferred). • Active California medical license and valid DEA license by the start date. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care, ideally in safety net settings. • PhD or DrPH if interested in developing a non-clinical independent research program.

Preferred Qualifications: • Fluency in Spanish and/or Cantonese. • Experience working with community organizations or health policy entities.
