Job description

Job Title: Pharmacology Associate I Location: Cambridge, MA Type: Contract Compensation: $25-$32.67 Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0

Overview Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an entry level Pharmacology Associate I. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelors degree with 0-2 years of experience in a research or pharmaceutical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in vivo experiments to assess drug activity and efficacy.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data, prepare reagents, maintain lab equipment, and manage sample inventory.
  • Collaborate with research teams to support preclinical and clinical studies.
  • Assist in the development of protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Present findings in team meetings and contribute to scientific publications.
  • Stay current with advancements in pharmacology and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of pharmacological principles and in vivo laboratory techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Excel, R).
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with animal handling and dosing techniques is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
