Entry level position with opportunities to launch a career available at our Quakertown location.
Great opportunity for those who are thinking about or training for work in the medical field.
Provide "hands-on" personal care support to individuals with mental illness and assist with cognitive, physical, emotional and social skill-building to help them become as independent as possible in the community as they learn to manage and improve their level of functioning.
We will train you in what you need to know to even take on supervisory responsibilities as you gain experience.
The ideal candidate is patient, loves to teach and support the learning of others, has interest in the medical field, works well in a team environment and loves the challenge of problem solving/trouble shooting. Responsibilities would include support in completing activities of daily living such as assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, cleaning, laundry, shopping, transportation, and support with recreational, educational, or vocational pursuits. Most positions require advanced training in administering medications, which New Vitae provides.
Minimum requirements to be considered for the position:
High School Diploma/GED.
